Thanks lads I’m very happy with them.

Couldn’t help myself so made a start on the trimming, the side trims really tested my patience. Cant wait to do the others Image.

What a great build this is love the attention to detail. The colour is unique and makes the van look that bit more special as you most likely won’t see another one like it.

Just spent the last half hour/ 45 mins looking through this build until Tapatalk decided to crash.

Thanks all, the comments are much appreciated.

Well I didn’t manage to get the seats finished today, still got the side covers to trim, so will be later in the week now.
Unfortunately my OCD got the better of me with wanting all the tilt release tabs on the same side (closest to siding door) Image. With the seats coming from a Touran one is closer to the drivers side, so it just doesn’t look right. Therefore I ended up stripping one of the seats back down to swap the frame over for one from my spare set, which then required the side covers cut and welded to suit (once trimmed in suede you’ll never know). I did manage to wrap the sliding handles and trim the backs though.

Take beautifully reupholstered seats , decide one little handle looks wrong, strip them back to the bare frames, a little bit of plastic welding and frame swapping, sorted!

With me it would have been ' handle is the wrong side.....looks lovely though!....get em in!'

Superb work fella.....this is what makes this forum so brilliant! If you pull up at a show, people would look all day long and not k ow about that!

👌
It's like at Heff's place...barbell parked his next to mine (obviously until he asked me to #### off for a bit so he could photo his without mine in shot!) and I noticed the small gloss Black bits had a very subtle metal flake, only visible in certain lights, and only in small areas....when I asked him, a little smile crossed his face! "Santorini black mate....'

They are the sections that you can remove to reveal the ISOFIX points.

Epic looking seats mate. Been following on instagram and loving the van. Where did you get the seat belts?

Had a spare hour tonight so got the seat pad looms extended to a better position and 4 pin connector fit to make them easier to disconnect for when I remove the seats. Also fit some seat belt buttons to the base release tabs, I think it makes them look more OEM than without (well as OEM as yellow tabs could be).
