Thanks lads. I can’t wait until the dash is trimmed and I get it all put back together, hopefully it will be in the next month or so.

Cheers mate.

In my quest to make things as “finished” as possible I added some grills to the rear under seat heater ducts today.

Toffee delights

Post by Lister79 »

Got round to finishing off my modified centre console tonight. I’ve always thought the cup holders looked a bit basic (and they collected dust Image), so decided I’d modify the centre console to use a sliding cover from a MK5 golf. The golf one also slide towards the front which in my head just didn’t seem right, so I also changed that so that it slides towards the rear. Really happy with how it’s come out. Just need the genuine VW bottle holder to come now then it will be complete.

Finished

This is going to be a mod everyone wants soon as they see it absolutely mint idea you must finish one mod that’s already not been done to then smash another one again. Honestly mate you kill you’ve proven that anything is possible with these caddy’s

Looks great that Chris. I was considering doing that myself after I saw Dans but when I had my console out for trimming I couldn’t get hold of a donor one to cut out due to bloody corona

Top bodging!
Taking it up another notch fella👍

What centre console is it for 2011 facelifts? I've seen 1T and 5T?

Thanks lads.

You’ll need a 1T centre console Pat.
