Re: My EX BG VR6 3.2 build
Went to refuel SW today.
The VR6 caddy got quite a bit of attention. With a lot of questions

Nice job on the engine cover mate.
Yeah I’m sure people want to ask questions about the van. It’s a real head turner mate

Thanks Chris. It makes it look more like a VW engine.
Thanks Peter. The trouble with the questions is people do ask the same ones all the time

I can imagine mate. It must be nice to get the attention though. I suppose it’s a bit of proof your hard work has paid off.

Re: My EX BG VR6 3.2 build
So today I had a vehicle inspection done today so I can finally get my caddy vehicle details change from a 1.6 diesel to 3.2 V6 petrol. (£150 not bad)
The best part is the the report says done to a good standard
For me that is the cherry on the cake as I’m not a car machanic. I’m a floorlayer

Re: My EX BG VR6 3.2 build
Got round to fitting a forge air box today.
Had to remove the battery and will be relocating under the passenger seat.
I thought I better put a pump start point in. As I think it would be easier than trying to get under the passenger seat.
Now I just need to sought out the battery
Probably put it in my engine bay battery box

@swan
Not started it yet. Want to get the battery all fitted in and the seats back in.
But I would imagined it would make a different sound

Finished the relocation of the battery today. Nice and snug under the passenger seat looks a lot better now it all tidied up.
