Nice work Sean! Where did you get the switch? I bought a cheap one from eBay with a plan to change the joystick but it didn’t fit

I had to change the switch when i fitted the power folding mirrors and i couldn't find a chrome one at the time.
The original one i had wasn't for power folding mirrors.

Hi, nice work on the build. When you fitted the caddy life folding mirrors did they work off the loom already there or did you have to modify it. Looking at putting them on my caddy soon

@Gedi1305
The Caddy life mirrors came with there own loom that you just plug into your original door module. The only thing you have to transfer over is the arial which is the driver’s mirror.

Well after all the hard work that went in to my rear bumper. I was told I need reflectors as I no longer have them in my rear lights.
So I thought I would turn a caddy mk4 rear bumper into a caddy/Golf R 7.5 like the front. Progress will be slow.
I started it today and so far please with the results.

Next stage will be filling sanding and get it ready for the paint shop Image

Yeah I will finish off sanding my rear alltrack bumper in this 12 weeks I just can’t paint it unless I get my brother to bring my compressor out the van to my garden. Not sure he will want to take my van apart to do that. So I have to wait till this is all over.

Or you could just stick some reflectors on!

Nice work mate.

Pm me with a price for your old bumper when this is done pal? (or is it a case of "join the cue"!?).
