Have you kept the battery isolator switch..?
If so you may have to trim the right side to allow the wire to the isolator switch as it was tight with 096 battery being longer but if you have the standard it should be fine.

My battery box was delivered today so I thought it would be an idea to paint it before I fitted it

Yes indeed, turned out nice👍, but I think it will look better with some contrast, like the engine cover. You should do the center black and/or the + and the - from the small battery icon to remain blue or red like the letters from the TDI.
This is just a possibility, there are more.
But is just my opinion :D

Fitted some new mud flaps today
As it could be muddy at Trax on Sunday and it will be my first ever show and the only one I’ve been able to go to this year

How much did you pay for them and where from Sean. Were they easy to fit. They look nice set the van off nice

Nice photos mate. Dan’s van is an amazing bit of kit isn’t it? I saw it at Hef fest a few weeks back. When you do get to talk to him, he’s a nice bloke
