Don't suppose you have a mk4 rear tow eye cover going spare?

@svenycaddylife
No I’m looking for one myself. I will have to get one from VW when I can get there to order one.
@cadz09
Thanks buddy. Hopefully I will get my new bumper on this weekend then I will be looking at something else to do

Nice one Sean. Hopefully you’ll notice a difference once it’s done. I’m my experience, I’ve found that silentcoat falls off the roof when the temperature increases. Mine has fallen off in the last few weeks. It’s been a pain to be honest. I’d say just use something like Dodomat super liner, or apply a bit of sticks like sh*t turbo to the silent coat.

Re: My BG Caddy maxi build
Well I picked this up from the paint shop today.
Think they have done a nice job.
Hopefully I will be able to get it on tomorrow afternoon when I finish work. Looking forward to seeing it on

Re: My BG Caddy maxi build
Hi Sean
Just joined the forum to learn a bit more about my ex British Gas caddy maxi and maybe discover a few ideas for it.
Yours was the first post I came across that looked as though it may do just that and, well, it has!
I genuinely can’t believe the amount of work and research you have put into your van, the level of detail put in is something else.
I got my van in winter last year and have only really got round to giving it some attention recently what with lockdown and less work etc.
I would like to start with a remap as the tuning box that British Gas installed is only good for lower down I’m told by viezu.
What was the effect you the map on your caddy?
Did you think it made much of a difference from the tuning box and have you had any issues since?

Re: My BG Caddy maxi build
Hi RivalDealer
I think I would say I was one of the lucky ones I didn’t have a viezu in my caddy mine came straight from a dealer who bought a job lot from the auction. So mine was standard when I got mine which I think was 107bhp and I mapped it to 140bhp and I did notice a lot of difference.
Thank you for taking the time to read my build I hope it’s given you the ideas that you have been looking for.

Thanks for your reply
I will see about getting a remap sorted at one point once things have started back up again
Something I would like to do at some point is the sliding rail covers you have
Where did you get yours from?
