Been at it again I stripped out the seats centre consul and the rubber mats
Ready to fit new carpet and a new centre consul
Then I put the seats back with some caddy mats

Re: My BG Caddy maxi build
Remove my new door mirrors today and put the old ones back on.
So I could put the puddle lights in
Tested to see if they work and what a surprise they do.
I think they look alright
Now just have to wait a couple of weeks and I will get the top bit colour coded

Re: My BG Caddy maxi build
It wasn’t a problem. I used a welder (Lister welder) to melt the plastic and it came of easy.
The hardest part for me will be putting the leather on especially on the arm rest.

Re: My BG Caddy maxi build
How did you take the door card apart? Want to change mine to grey alcantara to match my Audi seats but is it easy??

Re: My BG Caddy maxi build
No the back of the door cards you have these bits
You have to heat them up and gently pull it apart

Re: My BG Caddy maxi build
I would of thought so.
I’m going to reattach it the same way. (I hope) heat it up and weld it together

Re: My BG Caddy maxi build
Totally agree with you looks much better with your desired material and imo a complete nightmare to put back together yourself
