Yeah, it very time consuming, but you'll enjoy much quieter van once it finished 8)

6 hours it took! But least it's a job I only have to do once. Was just the cramped space to work in made it difficult and tiresome

Pulled the carpet up around it. Was easy enough to do

Yeah, the rubber carpet has a bit of give in it so was straight forwards

Once it's out you can then see how the pedal is held in as well

Same as you mate, soundproofing. Got the whole rear of the van to do to, but I’m not expecting any issues with that. Think I’ll need a remap next with all the added weight

The van is now all booked in for the black plastics to be painted at the end of the month so thought I'd take off the carpet covered ply ready for when it goes in... Then I thought it'd be a good idea to give the section a hoover which ended up ruining the carpet... After asking a few questions I was told to use a hair trimmer and razor!! Thought it was a joke at first, but what a result!
