So I've had the suspension on a week or so now and could tell from driving over bumps the front was harder than the rear so needed to soften then up a little. I thought it would be a "squeeze your hand between a gap" kind of jobbie, but instead turned into an hour of removing several bolts to then carry out a job that took literally seconds to do

Ended up making the front 6 clicks softer so will see how I get on before alignment on SaturdayImage

Great thread mate, seeing your insulation work has given me the motivation to go carry on with mine!

The insulation is by far the best and most satisfying part of the build. The difference in sound, feel, noise etc is unreal

Allignment day!!!

I had the garage to set the BC Racing coilovers to 2° positive camber when the fitted them, which today on the 4 wheel allignment machine resulted in 1.14° and 1.35° of negative camber which I'm happy withImage

Time to fit the splitter!

I tried not meithering the Mrs but I gave in and had to get to help me to offer our up and tape it in place

Drilled the holes... Easy
Fit the bolts.... Arrgghh! My big hands and small spaces don't go well together and kept on dropping the washers and bolts.

Middle bolt was a nightmare to fit and I lost the washer and with no spare parts provided I had to just bolt it up... I know it'll hold thoughImageImageImageImageImage

Wiper is staying - it's a transporter aero wiper and something I actually use

Great build!! Loved reading all the stages.

My van looks like yours did originally, just purchased myself some Audi A6 seats so gonna need some of "Stan the mans" help to get them wired in as they are fully electric and heated.

Front bumpers look great if you don't mind me asking what sort of money did u pay to get them done. I went to a guy local to me and he wanted the best part of 1500 quid which made me pass

Great work 👌

To have all the plastics sanded, primered and painted I paid £480.00 don't get me wrong, its not a perfect finish but for what I paid I'm happy

Yer more than reasonable to be fair. I've been looking for highline bumpers as an alternative also

I looked at highline bumpers, but they're all damaged in some way
