Potentially a next mod I'm thinking of.... Rear seat conversion... Starting to regret sound deadening the rear floor now! But is what it is!

Any good kits out there so I can give this a go myself(other than the welding)?

Sweet dude you fitted the rubber mounts now though! It was the only thing putting me of bc the knocking noise etc but suppose to be sorted now with them? Only thing i forgot to buy was the roller for sound deadning but I’ll use an alternative, just ordered some insulation from b&q collect that in the morning for cavity

Yeah I'm rubber top mounts... Noise is still there, but a lot quieter so much better now

The roller helps, bit not necessary. I found a wide trip removal tool to be much better than the roller

It seems to be a mk4 thing, bit the knocking I can hear isn't bad so don't worry too much. I'm actually thinking about going back to OEM shocks but putting lowering springs on instead but not sure

Yeah not sure I can be bothered with the hassle though so will probably end up keeping them on

Thanks buddy. When it comes to big mechanical stuff I'm useless, but everything has been kind of straight forwards... Hardest bit was worrying for the seats but had done great help

So a week ago I got this idea into my head to fit second row seats... Today I picked up said second row seats

I've researched this over and over again and as I'm not prepared to pay someone £1,200 to supply and fit I am going to give us all a go myself!

Oh... Also got it mapped today as well! It's a 180bhp map, but feels more like 150bhp, but I won it in a competition and any extra power over the stock 102 is much appreciated!
