Re: My Caddy 4, 1.4 TSI, Acapulco blue
Spent a best part of the day fitting CSR spoiler. What a pain in the arse to line everything up properly. Hopefully I don't have to do anything similar any time soon
Can't wait to see it in a daylight now

Thanks mate. I've added an extra feed from the fuse box. It is permanent live.

Such a nice van! Colour is amazing!
With your spoiler did you just bond it on, it or did you use any fixings? Looks spot on!!

Thanks mate. No fixings, some double sided tape for the initial fit and windscreen bond to keep it in place.

Only a small upgrade, but these side moulding are a proper patience testers

Re: My Caddy 4, 1.4 TSI, Acapulco blue
Is there a technique to removing the side mouldings, or do they just come off easily with a bit of manual persuasion & heat?

Re: My Caddy 4, 1.4 TSI, Acapulco blue
I'd say the easiest is to cut through the tape at one end using a braided fishing line or super strong thread. Then start pulling up that end slowly while heating it up. The heat helps a lot, as the double sided tape becomes softer/gooey and comes off a lot easier. Don't go crazy with the heat gun if it's not a temperature adjustable one
Then just a matter of cleaning up the tape residue with something like "tar remover". That's how I did it.
