The DRL's are brighter than the sidelights though......? Not sure if its meant to be like that, and ill have to check that the indicators are visible in daylight...

The DRLs are brighter than sidelights on the standard lights too mate. I’ve replaced mine with LED bulbs and it’s the same with them too. It’s normal fella

There should be a setting to extinguish the DRL when indicating. I saw it in the Carista app.

Ahh... I don’t have carista... is that available in the free bit, as opposed to the subscription bit?

I think you can run a 30 day trial with all of it (I didn’t pay for the first month). Or if you have a better dash display (highline perhaps) it could be in there. I only use Carista because I have a midline fascia display, only settings are front assist enable/disable.

Of course you need the OBDII dongle but that was only £14 or thereabouts and enabled me to set a load of other stuff too like needle sweep, hazards on hard braking, etc. You’ll have to check whether that’s all available on your model year though. If you’re near a member with a coding setup and a 2m+ cable(!) it may be done from there but that’s the limit of my knowledge, I’ll defer to anyone else who has done it on your model year.

Ah, ok bud, thanks.....might not be available on mine (2011)....i have a midline control module but no way to access the menus. I might try to get a carista to see whats possible....

I have enquired, but I'm not in a position to buy it at the moment, due to my soon to be ex parasitic spunk spitoon......its not expensive for the work done, and obviously the quality is better than anything else out there, just out of my reach at the moment......

Besides, I kinda want to do it myself.....theres a long term plan forming for my retirement, involving fu####g about with vans!
Nothing on your scale, but I like messing with the caddy again...ive learnt so much!

I do, however, have a set of these that I’m going to see if I can prep and get the paint/primer for today!

Yes mate.... there’s some on eBay apparently? Very similar to these, but he wants £320? These will be a lot less than that.... I should find out tomorrow, as well as some kind of forum discount
