Just like that!!
Been told from my mate in work that stuff from Autodoc takes a while to arrive, so doubt I’ll have the bearings in time to replace them next week when I’m off work. Damn!

What a bummer :(

I could never do what those lads have done. I lack skills, cash and time!

Another mod off the list……today I’ve fitted my TRC front splitter. A bit awkward to do on my own but I’ve got it on straight and it sits well.
Now I need to be even more careful than I already am going over speed bumps. Image

That’s going to be it for a while now. Apart from replacing the front wheel bearings as soon as they arrive.

You should be OK, I've had mine on for a couple of years now and it's like a speed bump showroom around here... Also I think the TRC one is good quality and good value, fits and looks great.

Yeah it seems solid I must say. I went with the TRC one as they seem well regarded by lads who have fitted them. I’ve just been over a few speed bumps with no issues.

@Handyandy, cheers mate. I’m made up with it

Cheers Sean. Caddy 4 mirrors will be the next mod, but that’s a while off yet.

I picked my van up today after having new front wheel bearings fitted.
I’d originally planned to do this myself and was looking forward to the task and (for me) the challenge. However, after getting to the point where I only had 2 bolts left to remove on the bearing. I managed to destroy both bolt heads. I had to use two hands on the end of my bar as it wasn’t very long and it slipped out. Schoolboy error and I’m bloody annoyed at myself. Anyhow, confidence destroyed, I booked it in my local garage. Mechanic said he had ‘fun’ removing them both. Lesson learned, if nothing else.

It can be very annoying, but at least it's done now and you can forget about it.

As giddy said at least there done now I tried to replace the rear bearings I borrowed the 19mm hex bit which comes in a 1/2 inch drive but I was in fear of breaking my 600mm breaker bar so have left it for now until I can get a bigger bar but boy them nuts are tight the next problem will be to torque them back up once the new ones are fitted

Yeah, I’ll put it to bed now. The van sounds nice and quiet now. The one that went seemed to go from silent to noisy in a few days.
Hope you get sorted Handyandy
