Looks very tidy bud. keep having a snoop in here and stealing your ideas.

I've done the exact same with my cab. - just added Touran carpets instead.
You will certainly notice the difference.

Cheers Lamby. I did think about getting a set of Touran carpets, but to be honest after noticing how much water pools in the footwell when I have wet feet, I decided against it.
Plus I couldn’t find a set cheap enough

Luckily I only use my van for personal use, so I don't get that problem. lol

I've been proper tight with the money I spend on the van. Took me nearly 10 months to find a centre console and carpets at a decent price. Ended up with TT vents, ratchet centre console and carpets all for £45

But seriously, You're van looks mega, I'm jealous of the colour!!

the swan fiend wrote:I managed to get the rubber matting back down today. Also centre console back in and drivers side seat base. The matting went in better than I thought, the seat base was more difficult to line the bolts up due to the fact I’ve soundproofed the transmission tunnel. I now have a method for getting the passenger side in.
Working on the van and also working nights means I’m having to do the work after a sleep, and before it goes dark. Hence why it’s taking so long!! Image

Today I’ve got the remaining seat base back in and the seats. I took it for a quick drive and it is definitely quieter. I noticed the underseat sub wasn’t working though. After panicking I’d crushed or snapped the power lead, I whipped the seats and bases out and found a bullet connector had come apart under the carpet behind the seats. Nice quick fix and seats back in. Now for the rear..........

Cheers mate. It’s also getting expensive. I decided to tot up what I’ve spent in mods so far. I’m up to £4400, that’s not including parts needed or servicing
If the wife asks, it’s not £4400, it’s £44.00

Standard practice take the zeros off and say your mate was basically giving the stuff away
Should be a different van from inside the cab mate
I noticed a big difference on my last van as I had no bulkhead

@Bradley, the wife thinks forum members are dropping stuff off every day
There’s a difference in road rumble, it’s definitely less. It means I can hear the noise in the rear more now but I plan to soundproof the back at the weekend. I do have my bulkhead in though.
