Calipers look good mate. It’s a pet hate of mine when I see people have painted over the brake pads, rubber seals, clips etc. Looks so much more professional the way you’ve done it.

Cheers Stu. That means a lot coming from you mate.....you’re a master of your craft!

I’m glad I took them off, more work but it’s a neater job I’m sure, and I do try to do things the best I can. Plus, I spotted my blown dust seal too.

Brakes look good but the rusty discs let it down now! Not fancy black hammerite on the rusty bit?

Only time the gunson kit didn’t work for me was a Saab 9000 with a dodgy abs valve, I think you will find it very useful to use on your own.

I’m not having much joy with it mate. Rigged it up to a tyre, and got very little out on the rear. Increased the pressure (like an idiot) and I emptied the reservoir that came with the kit
So I reckon it’s full of air now. I’ve moved onto the fronts, and when I pressurise and open the bleed nipple, I’m getting nothing.
I’ve messed this up quite bad I think. Starting to worry now

Emptied the reservoir? As in ran out of fluid?
Just fill it and start again, will push the air out. Doesn’t need much pressure, won’t come shooting out, you don’t want it coming out too quick or it can get more bubbles.

Best to start with wheel furthest away from reservoir and work forward. The one you did first running clear?

Yes mate, I don’t know weather the tank in the actual van emptied as well. I’m getting quite a lot of air coming through the drivers side caliper so I think it may be ok once that’s cleared.
I’m worried about needing to bleed ABS and clutch as I don’t know how. I’ll cross that bridge if I need to.
Thanks for your help and advice mate

Eezibleed can be used for clutches too.
Just googled caddy abs bleeding and seems you have to do it in VCDS
someone here must have some experience though

Yes, I though that would be the case. It’ll be going to the garage if it needs doing

If you've got air into the ABS then it will need to be run on the bleed cycle to clear it properly.
Don't pump the pedal if the reservoir is empty, that may damage the seals.
What you might find works best is to pump some through with the pedal, just make sure not to run dry.
I've done it on my own with a torque wrench between the pedal and the seat to keep it pressed. Then release the pressure at the caliper.
Slow but possible.
