Hi mate,

Regarding the front door lights replacing the reflectors, do they just plug and play? what are they from?

Hi mate. I’m not sure exactly what model VW they came from, @stedlocks sent them to me.
They are fitted to quite a few models though.
You’ll also need a loom for them. Tommyzooom or Stan the man can help with those. Once fitted, they’ll need coding with VCDS.

Ok, so another little mod. Again, not groundbreaking but all the little things add up I think.......registration plate surrounds front and rear. An eBay special.

You know you don’t do enough mods when you have to search for ages down the build threads to find your own! ImageImage

Anyway, another little mod done today, roof rails. I’ve been debating weather I like the look or not, anyway, I got some and I do!
Image

Image
I had to remove one of the bolts I’d previously fitted to conceal the holes left from removing the BG ariels as it was fouling the rail. I went for a quick fix, literally cost me 2p! Image
Image
Once it dries, I’ll get more sealant on, and refit the roof lining. From the outside, you can’t see anything so I’m happy.

That looks tidy chap.. Where did you get the rails from?

Cheers mate. I got them from part tech on eBay, £60. They’re only load rated to 40KG but I’m not bothered at they’re purely cosmetic. The fit was decent too.

Looking good, nice to see you are still modding lol
My list is still growing and nothing being ticked off for a long time.
Loving the 2p fix

Cheers mate, yeah I do a few bits when funds allow.
You’ve got bigger fish to fry at the moment mate, but you’ll get back to it I’m sure

Next on the list is......
Paint and fit spoiler (still )
Sliding door rail covers
New O/S front wing.
Mirrors. Undecided weather to colour code the originals or replace with aero mirrors and do those.
Side bars.
Dent removal.

Don’t hold your breath though

thanks chap, bars are exactly what I'm looking for.. Any chance of a side on view of the van with them fitted?

Liking the rails!

I think they finish off the roofline.

Hey Pete I hope your keeping well. Since the last time I saw you I’ve fitted aero mirrors, probably one of the best mods you can do for altering overall look of the van imo. Maybe a little pricey but worth it.

Hi Craig, yeah we’re good thanks. Hope you and the missus are too
I’m seriously tempted mate, but it won’t be for a while yet. Where did you buy yours from? I’ve seen them on Travelin Lite but I have a feeling they may be cheaper in TPS.
