Pure grey OEM+

Good morning, I thought I would start this thread to document and changes and modifications I do to the caddy, the idea is that it doesn’t get out of hand, I want to stay in the realms of the OEM+ style range.
After a bit of searching, and nearly buying a Kangoo, I picked up this trend line pure grey dab caddy from Sheffield, it’s a 2.0 tdi that is fairly clean, and even managed 60mpg on the way back.
After getting home that evening, I had a pack of garage floor protectors ready to go in the back
As you can see from the picture above, the passenger side bulkhead was missing, I quickly sourced one locally from eBay and replaced that to keep the road noise down.
I ordered a genuine vcds cable as soon as I bought the caddy and started playing around. So far I have enabled dash sweep, window rise on key, rear led number plate lamps, anti highjack and the digital mph on the cluster, removing the kmph.
I ordered some sound deadening and started on the rear, this is where I am up to.
The rear carpet has arrived, once I finish the sound reading, I will get onto this.
Does anyone have the panel templates they could send me? I would like to ply line the windows locations first.
I ordered a set of hr lowering springs and the dark side development rear shackle kit.
And fitted it along with a set of golf r Pretoria 19x8.5 et45 with 235/35/19 Goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric 3 tyres.
I am quite pleased with the result so far
Ideally I would like the front springs to settle around 10mm but I’m not sure this will happen. The rear is set to the 4th adjustment from the top.
As you can see, my plate is on too.
Next up, some seats and MFSW, see what else I can do with vcds. Rear camera, apply car play and then onto the outside again; painted grills and splitter along with rear wiper delete and side door roller cover.
Thanks for reading.
