Caddy 2007 lowering

Ok so I have this ex British Gas van 👍🏽 I’m doing the TDI conversion on it but also need to know the best way around lowering the rear end ?drop plates ect ?
Any advise from any one would be amazing ! FANKS ALL!!

axle flip kit, I got mine from darkside developments, there is a low or super low kit. Other brands area available also.

What's going up the front then? If you're buying full kit, it comes with everything you need for the front and rear.

did you get a kit and if so which one did you use and are there any instructions for fitting available?

I haven’t bought a kit yet but I will run coil overs on the front 👍🏽

I used the weld on spring perches as I didn’t want the big brackets hanging down all over the place.

If you have some level ground, some axle stands, a spirit level, tape measure, a good mig welder and can run some good welds it’s quite simple.

Got all apart from the decent mig welder lol may do it at work. I have the double leaf springs on my maxi life. Did you use the original bolts ?

I think I may have fitted my dark side kit the wrong way... the super low kit is supposed to centralise the axle but mine hasn’t I’m wondering if I’ve fitted the shackles the wrong way round. Does anyone have photos of the super low option fitted? Cheers
