Cheers Lister, and I think I’m with you! Just hadn’t planned on having to buy that much Alcantara

Couple of pieces of puzzle trimmed with some alcantara offcuts. Really getting to grips with the process and starting to become much more enjoyable rather than stressful. Image

On the advice of Lister I trimmed the main body of the door card in matching Alcantara. It was a tricky job - probably above my skill level but learnt a lot in the process, and certainly would make a better job of it next time round. I have new speaker grills on order and armrests to send off to the trimmers still. Probably won’t be on the van until next year. Assembled the passenger door card this afternoon. Image

Lower dash now trimmed in alcantara. Everything except the gear lever cowling which I will get done professionally next year. Finished off with a new glove box lever/handle.

B pillars also trimmed in matching alcantara and grey interior plastics replaced with black (thanks to @Giddy)

Wow that dash looks fantastic! I want to do something similar but I feel covering the whole dash/taking it out etc is above my skill level.

@Smnty1 Thanks dude, to be honest I thought the same initially as have never undertaken such a job. I just followed a few guides which really made it quite easy. It’s only a few screws and a few clips at the end of the day I think everything I’ve done has been above my skill level haha.

Guy94 how long roughly did it take you to do? The standard dash in my caddy is the awful basic plastic one I’m dying to change it!

@Smnty1 I think it took less than an hour to remove everything. Then about twice as long to put the new dash in. I took my time though! The hardest part was removing the slip ring - simply because I couldn’t find the tiny screw that releases the whole unit honestly it looks daunting, but is a really simple job when you break everything down.
