Thanks, it has just cheap Stance+ at the moment.
I’ll upgrade when I TFSI swap it. Currently looking for a donor car.

Bought a recovery truck, don’t really know why but it has and will be handy!

The R32 has also been collected, needs a little more than TLC.

The Q7 is nearly ready for scrap, should be getting rid on Monday.

I know I only said 2 days I was on the look for a donor tfsi car but I’m having second thoughts. The van looks cool, returns good MPG and is super practical....
By the time the engine is in I can’t return the van to standard my only option to get some money back would be to break. If I don’t convert it I keep the good mpg, cheap insurance, practicality and lots more $$. I think I want a B7 RS4 Avant, with wingbacks then I’ll put wingbacks in the R32 giving me a wingback trio.
Hmmmmmm

The conversion will cost me £5k by the time it’s done properly. That’s 1/3 of a nice RS4 which should only hold/appreciate. Assets not liabilities.

Got the R32 in the air yesterday. Turns out I need 4x springs, front pads, rear discs and pads (got these), 4x tyres and a couple of CV boots.

Left it on the 20” speedlines, makes me want another of set of 19’s for the golf!

Did a service on the van this week and fitted a set of 18z’s.

Ignore the state of the brakes and wheels, both need a refurb. Brakes will be going yellow and the wheels just split and returned to the OE colour.

I’m determined to have a day on the van next week, I want to finish the carpet in the back so I can make some flooring, sort a steering wheel squeak out, wire everything in and turn it into a MTB van!

I’ve bought a little jump bike on top of this one so I can learn to jump and get some confidence before snapping a very expensive bike in half, and myself!

Hi bud, love what you have done with the van looks amazing.

I have just got myself a Caddy Maxi ex BG :D

If you don't mind me asking how do you find the Stance+ coilover kit?

Also what head lights are they they look spot on.

Kind regards

Jonny,
Thanks!
They’re fine, cheap and cheerful. I drive in London a lot and they cope with the rubbish roads and mountain like speed bumps.
The headlights are from Travelin-Lite.

Thanks bud. I have just ordered some. Fingers crossed they survive the cornish roads.

@doc.
The quoting it pretty handy and it give me a notification that someone has replied to a post. I have seen you have removed a few people when quoting. Is there a better way to do it?

Cheers

@hemmjonny there is a better way, just as you have done with the "at" tag.
I often remove quotes of entire previous posts as it clutters up the forum. If you require notification of a reply there are options to subscribe to a thread.
If a quote is deemed necessary, it should be kept to a minimum i.e. there's no need to quote a post with 15 photos to day someone's van looks nice or ask about tyre sizes. The quote can be edited to remove anything unnecessary.

I started a YouTube channel to capture some of the rubbish I get up to.

I’ve started with the R32 but, I will do some stuff with the caddy at some point. Maybe within the next few videos I’ll do a walk round of the van then onto some ‘mods’.

Please bare with me, it’ll get better. I’ve already ordered spent £180 on new lighting for the units and I’m about to order a proper camera. Below is where the magic will happen, maybe.
