@Domcaddy32 mine was out of the newer polo but I think they're the same as the mk6 golf, I found that on Ebay the polo ones were cheaper than the golf ones

Re: Yet another Ex-gas van
While I'm on here, here is a few other things I've done to the van I put a little sound deadening on the door/window bit and made of ply panels and covered them in the left over gte tarten, I might try and make some bunting with the left left overs.
I also finally got round to fitting the driver touran door card

Double sliding doors? Are these common on gas vans or have I been completely oblivious to this all this time lol?

Re: Yet another Ex-gas van
Hi, new Caddy owner here! I wanted to remove the factory blackout from the window and this post id the first I've seen doing it, is it a simple process of just heating with a heatgun?
EX_gas-Cop wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 4:54 pm So to speed things up on this build, over the last months I've insulated ply lined and carpeted.
Got a motexion bulkhead
Got the bed how i want it to work now got rid of the black out on the rear windows and had them tinted and put on vanX blinds.
Sorted the leaisure battery and switch board.

@mgjolly
Yeah super simple its only a black vinyl plastic stuck to the glass, i warmed it up with a heat gun and got an edge and it peeled off mot leaving to much residue behind, but a bit of IPA will clean it up
