Managed to get hold of a set of Touran rear seats with all the brackets and belts along with carpet frotnnand rear with footwell boxes and the centre console with armrest tonight for a cracking price so fetching that lot Monday night. Once it’s painted will start on the interior then with carpeting, insulating, sound proofing, fitting all that and the audio/electrical equipment including running wires ready for the air install possibly.

So done a bit more on the van. Front end almost all sorted and on just a bit more lining up to do before I make some cloaking panels for the wing mounts as not happy with how VW do it. Also got the inside stripped and the floor up so we can start getting the Touran seats in. I’m going to paint the roof tonight then the rest of the outside can be prepped and hopefully painted next week. Once it’s painted will get the inside carpeted and insulated and installed/cleaned before flatting and polishing the outside. Fingers crossed couple more weeks and it will be “done”

Looking really good mate. You’re flying along! I’ve only seen pics of the missus working, not you, so she must be doing all the hard work

Thanks guys it’s nice to be on a forum not full of dicks. The T5 forums are hideous lol

Yeah, vans are expensive enough without Christmas getting in the way! Everyone’s really sound on here as you say. No egos or the likes. Doc runs a tight ship
