Cut the old bulkhead up to fill the gaps, popped some cheap curtains in as well. Need to find some material to tie them back with

Its a bit inspirational this! looks an absolute beauty, for me the main priority is fixing the interior to give a comfy nice place to be, i hadnt even thought of Scirocco seats!?! good on you! i might steal a few ideas

@bertiebasher - cheers mate.
Done the bulkhead delete so screwed in some M6 Eye bolts and carabiners in the holes left over. Obviously don’t drive with the carabiners in can’t stand the rattle

@mtb993 - By far! The Scirocco seats are lovely, but not cheap.
If you’re looking for a quality seat upgrade for cheap then go down the Touran, mk5 golf route, anything mk5 platform really. I’ve had two sets of touran seats and they were night and day compared to the standard caddy seats!

Unbelievable work there do the touran bases for straight into the caddy holes already there?

Loving the build mate. Lots of inspiration.
Do you have a “how to” guide on the rear door interior release handle you have done. Looks awesome.
Thanks

Re: My 1.9tdi Caddy (cheap project)
@Y4yt33, hi dude, if you pull the trim off the doors you’ll see the handle mechanism inside. If you pull the outside handle you’ll see how it works. Basically all you need to do is attach a small cable tie to the the part which moves when you move the outside handle - then attach the lanyard to the cable tie. Sorry mate it might sound like a mammoth of a job with me explaining it like this. I’ll pop the trim off tomorrow mate and I’ll post a few pictures on here. Very very simple tho dude I’m sure you’ll work it out but just drop me a message if you’re struggling, more than happy to help

Nice job
Did you ever hook up the heated part of the leather touran seats? Interested if it was relatively simple or not.

Re: My 1.9tdi Caddy (cheap project)
Can I ask about the TT dash vents, did you use the main caddy body and just switch the TT fronts and silver trims or what?

Re: My 1.9tdi Caddy (cheap project)
@Geoffwade65 - you have to split the caddy vents and chop them up to make the TT vents fit. There’s a good write up on the forum which you should have a look at mate
