Hi

Bought the van in october last year 18000 miles on the clock and yeah that's not missing a 0! For a good price to replace my scudo that was for the breakers yard.

So far:-

Full interior strip out in the back, still had all the british gas racking in there, used that to fit out a work van for a friend!

Then plastic recycled insulation added behind all the panels and then foil bubble wrapped and taped to vapor barrier it all. Followed but 4 way stretch carpet, ply flooring topped with heavy duty campervan vinyl, 2 cupboards slim one at the front against the bulk head as i have decided to leave this in (although might be changing my mind on that as its started to get in the way now I've used her a few times!) Which has all the 12v, 240v and heater pipes hidden away in along with a second stereo with amp and speakers.

Second cupboard has 2 burner gas stove, sink, storage and water tanks. Pull out bed that makes a 6'6" by 3'11" bed.

Under the bed is storage, 240v distribution unit, 2kw desiel heater, and sub from the amp.

Lots more to do and will update as I do more to the van.

Any ideas as to what's next or any questions please do ask and let me know :-) ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Looking good dude, I bought an ex bg van a few weeks ago and looking to achieve something similar. I was thinking of a similar layout although I’m only 5’8 so don’t need a bed as long as that haha, was thinking of using the end of the bed for extra storage.

Bit of a change inside, the worktops have got damaged over winter so time to make use of some out of date lake district maps and pva! ImageImageImage

Was a good year then! :-)

Trying to work out if I varnish over the pva or if some lacquer would be better and more hard wearing.....

A few coasts of spray lacquer would probably be better. I got this stuff from amazon for over spraying stickers on would and it’s still going strong. I think varnish would soak the map too much...

That stuff looks good and cheaper than the clear lacquer from halfords I was looking at! :-)

Couple of cans ordered and I'll let you know once it's all done! :-)
