Finally managed to get round to building my false floor

Being that the van will only get used for mtb and shows I though that building a flat false floor to sleep on would be the best idea

I started with a 2x2 frame the used 12mm MDF sheet to board it then used a high temp spray adhesive and carpet tiles

Also started to build a small shelving unit to house my 12v sockets

As the rest of the van as being carpeted I didn't see the need to insulate until all my sound deadening arrives

How come you didn't go for a pull out bed.... Lot more comfy then the floor

The false floor was just easier and I needed the space underneath for my helmet and pads and I no I'd I had a bed in there it would get covered in mud ImageImage
I was going to use a memory foam mattress topper not just the carpet Image
