Hi Lee. To be honest the quality of the kit could be better. I mean it's okay to look at but a nightmare to fit (or so the body shop told me). I use the van as my daily and am not going to be showing it off at any meets or shows so I'm not going to be too OCD about it. If you get right up close you can see the kit doesn't quite sit flush (I'm talking mm not inches). I guess it depends how fussy you are.

The rear bumper attaches using two brackets and they sent me 2 offside brackets. So had to ring up and try and get a near side bracket sent out. That was like trying to get blood out of a stone so I'd say customer service is fairly shoddy as well.

Overall I am pleased with how it looks although it could be better but I guess you get what you pay for.

When you get a chance, can you tell me the exact length of those skirts please chap 👍

Not sure why it says that @Ripley55. I got mine about 3 weeks ago and it was all working fine.

Just measured the side skirt and it is 224.8cm. Hope this helps

Thank mate, that’s great
My Caddy Maxi Life looks to be 2.44m, so I’ll need to measure mine again 👍

I wanted a little bit of storage but something that wasn't going to take up floor space. I built these 2 cupboards just to store small bits and bobs. I've just sat them on top of my wheel arches and screwed them to the ply wall. They work really well. I used some left over carpet to cover them. Now time to just get some doors to put on the front of them. ImageImage

Great progress! Did you install the side windows yourself? How hard was that?

Hi @Mtb993. I did think about installing them myself but didn't want to risk it. Got them done professionally, and glad I did.

Looks amazing, and a really professional finish. Do you mind me asking what tv mount you used and what it was secured onto (ie existing metalwork or did you add timber) as although I have insulated/carpeted the rear and done a seating coversion a few years ago, I still have all the orignial fittings above the cab area and havent had time to see what's above the head lining to progress upgrading that area now.

@cwdwb65 thanks very much. I got the TV mount from ebay. If you search ebay number 181335877797 you should find it.

As for mounting it I got a thick bit of mdf and bonded it directly to the metal of the roof of the van. Then my ply ceiling is screwed over the top of that. My mount then screws into the ply wood ceiling and into the bonded mdf and stops before going through the roof of the van.
