50 shades of Grey

Post by Grifnut »

Image

Didn’t take long before I got bored, so I decided to work on the rear fitment.

I noticed that with most caddy’s on air the wheels/ tyres sit on the arches. Usually wheel lip on outer arch and tyre sat on the inner arch skin.

So I had a play with the rear arches and managed to get it sitting about 50mm lower on the back

And running 235/30/20’s on the back as I was sick of 225’s destroying themselves

Push lock front number plate holder saved me sticking it to the bumper or losing it down the dash

The push locks are from a guy on insta, if you search push locks it should come up.
Great for honeycomb grills

Did you get this from ebay?
I remember seeing a pure grey on air.....i wanted it, but it was out of my price range! Seems like you had to spend a fair bit too initially, so it was definitely out of my range!

This has instantly gone into my personal top five of caddy's on here.....awesome looking van! I love the fat fives though!

Yeah that’s it, the guy was a bit of a nightmare to deal with and didn’t really know much about the van.

Turns out neither did I Image, you live and learn eh. At first I was gutted about all the problems, but ultimately I wouldn’t have built up the knowledge I have now without solving the issues.

It was also a good excuse to upgrade bits
