£800 ex builders bargain
So been after a caddy for a while now and then this bargain came up quite local to me and for the plans I have it works out perfect.
So here she is a 2005 2.0 sdi.
Needed a drivers window
A new front shock
And engine light investigating
And a mot oh and 2 new tyres

Looks tidy.. I've just bought a similar model with twin side doors... Planning a touran / caddy conversion just got back from picking up an old touran which is a mot failure. Ideal for the seats, door cards ect
Cheers

Re: £800 ex builders bargain
Thanks for all the comments the paint is in an ok state a few rust patches here and there and apart from one wing and the sliding door all the panels are in a relatively good condition too. As for naming the van Betty that is the first point my wife noticed and it is officially (in my household at least) the name of the van.
So I’ve had the van for a couple of weeks now and got a few odd jobs done. Stripped all the wood out the back. A good clean inside and out. Painted a and b pillars black and something a little different with the head lining.
I will get some more pictures up of the pillars and headlining fitted as soon as I get then in.

Cheers. The headlining was quite easy actually. It’s just a cheap £10 blanket and I used spray glue. It’s heals really well and looks quite good.maxthecaddy wrote:headlining looking good, was that hard to do, might have a go doing mine

£800 ex builders bargain
Had some free time today so I got the roof lining and A and B pillars in and decided I didn’t want just the black paint so I have covered them in black suede. I’ve only got the one picture for now but it shows the work.
