So the front end is fitted, but is going back for rear door handle plinth and edition 30 side trims to be painted/fitted

Coilovers need lowering and setting up

Started fitting the trim back in, Touran carpet fitted with heater pipes under carpet and centre console

Coming on nicely, going in tomorrow for turbo, gear box etc

It’s off eBay cost around £140 but if I’m honest it’s not the best fit I’d try and source genuine if you can

UPDATE

Today I have finished fitting the interior apart from clipping in a couple of pieces of trim (including the gear surround) and replacing the bulkhead glass.

I’m very happy with the results! Massive thanks to Aaron at prestige automotive in Highbridge he’s done a great job.

Here’s a list of what’s been done:

-Roof lining and tray in Tartan and suede with blue stiching.
-Top Pillars in suede with blue stiching, bottom in nappa leather
-Touran centre console in nappa leather with blue stiching, Heater pipes fed in to bulkhead to heat/cool rear
-Touran carpets
-Golf R wheel
-Custom Touran door cards in tartan/suede
-Genuine new Golf Gear knob with Blue inlay
-Golf R seats trimmed in Nappa leather, suede with double diamond stitch and tartan.
-New Motextion bulkhead with carpet removed and covered in Suede with and blue stitching (proved very difficult and time consuming)
-Pioneer DAB CarPlay double din unit with Component speakers and underfloor subwoofer

Other bits I’m sure I’ve missed.. it’s back off to the body shop now to have the roof bars removed, drivers side painted as it has a few marks. Rear 1/4 on passenger size. Front splitter, Edition 30 side trims to be fitted and coilovers to be would down.. coming back Monday afternoon Image

Few pics here but I will take some on my DSLR once it’s finished

Looks gorgeous, that went from 0-100 real quick, no mucking around. When do you think you’ll be going with the new turbo setup?
