New set of VW 1K8943021D license plate LED's with water tight plugs/ seals to replace the ones I got of amazon. These one also click into the existing openings on the door handle once you remove the halogen housing. I had to drill a 12mm hole in the back of the door handle plastic support to allow the plug to fit and trim a plastic tab or two. I trimmed a hair of plastic off the door handle opening where the LED units click in, the LED units click in solid then.

How did ya do the trim on the doors? Did ya just get some material and stick it on then?

You have to take off the door card and remove that part of the door card, some tabs to be cut off and be plastic welded back on. Once you have the door card off you will see the tabs holding that part on. When off just glue on the fabric and plastic weld back on to the door card.

I have a set of caddy life power folding mirrors installed now with upgraded door control modules. I had the mirror bodies sprayed gloss black. Re-used the mirror covers from my non-folding caddy life mirrors and re-installed the mirror puddle lights in the new mirrors.

I decided to get rid of the tartan headliner. I bought a new one and dyed it black, it took 5l of dye and 5 coats. I used a pump action sprayer to apply the dye.

I cant believe I found a set of these caddy sun visors with mirrors and lights. Painted them with 1 coat of adhesion promotor and 2 cans of 400mm aerosol signal black, applied in really light coats.
