“Just another 5 minutes” on the forum turned into hours and now I’m sat at 5 o’clock in the morning after trawling through some of the builds on here  absolutely love this thing mate hands down one of the nicest caddy’s I’ve seen. Great build thread too really helpful, after reading your first post of “keeping it standard” I think you’d underestimated the caddy bug   I’m trying to keep it under control but I can see the money draining from my bank already haha. Great build mate looks cracking

Doing mods and learning new skills, what more could a person want? Good effort mate, keep up the good work.

FishermansFriend this thread is amazing watching you take a relatively standard vehicle & moving to the dizzy heights of modified gives me so much food for thought on my own Caddy.
On a side note have you still got the standard number plate plinth & did you want to sell it?

Hi Bradb, hope you getting some sleep now

Thanks very much for taking time to read through the tread, glad you liked it. Without this forum and members my Caddy would still look like it did in the very first picture. Yes, its true, I am addicted but they say the first step is admitting it, now I have come to terms with it I can move on with more mods

Hi Lister,

The only thing that would make it better is if I had your Caddy, its on a different level altogether. I am still sanding down my engine cover, I have spent more on sand paper than the actual engine cover. Every time I look at your cover it reminds me of the Mandalorian, I can just imagine it on the back of his jet pack

Hi Dubbsley,

Thanks very much. I have been reading through your tread and looking forward to seeing some more progress.

Unfortunately I don't have the number plate plinth anymore. It was just a plain one and I applied the Volkswagen sticker to it. I got the stickers from Bluestorm Signs who are based in the UK, here is the link to the ones I used http://www.bluestormsigns.co.uk/index.p ... cts_id=200. Or alternatively I have a few spare ones and I will gladly stick them in a envelope for you and post them to you, just PM me your address.

What a wonderful thread. Looking at the o first picture you uploaded and now the most recent one, it's like night and day. Loving all the little touches, obviously along with the huge touches you've done. Quality build thread, really like it!
