Re: SWB - Blackberry
I've been browsing the forum for a while now and feel like I should probably stop lurking and just post already. Also the further I read, the more 'unavailable threads' are starting to be a pain!
So far I've sound-proofed the rear bed & walls with Silent Coat and foam. Fit a rear spoiler, side rail cover, and heko wind deflecters. Surprised me how a few simple bits can make such a difference!
Also got hold of some Mk6 GTI rims.
Getting all the cast-offs is one benefit of having a friend with a golf lol.
On the to-do list is;
• Carpet the rear
• Personal Plates
• Front Splitter
• Reverse camera
• Seat swap, or just covers for now
• Tint the windows & lights
• Colour code the back & side plastics
• Remap
• Suspension

Removed the bulkhead and fitted seat covers & arm rest.

Starting to take shape.
Had my helper as usual..
I've also got the front splitter sitting in my living room ready to be fit. Just waiting on a few extra hands.

Haha, cat pic.....brilliant
Love those seat covers, but can't justify £300 as it's my work horse.

Yeah that's fair. I work in a design office so I've only got the van for tax reasons, at most I'll have my lunchbox in the back lol.
I'll eventually swap in some heated seats when I can muster the effort to sort out looms & heater controls, but for now I thought seat covers would be the easier option.
Fitted the front splitter this morning.

Dude, this is some sick seat covers. Where does one find these? links?BenXCIV wrote: ↑Fri Aug 07, 2020 5:17 pm Yeah that's fair.

I thought seat covers would be the easier option compared to fitting other seats, and for £250 I don't think they look too bad.
Im from South Africa with a mk4 caddy, but we dont have half the cool things Europe has.
We buy the items and then have to pay roughly the same at customs(basically paying double). Its a nightmare.

SWB - Blackberry
I use to ask the sender to tick the box as a gift.... no customs. That still exists I think.

I bought them from GTE Custom Vans, they do a couple of styles/colours.

I'll add the link into the original post.

Thanks guys, if I do get to the point of purchasing the covers, I'll definitely request it as a gift
