Well sorry for the lack of updates in a while guys but I've been under the hammer at work being summer season and detailing Image

First up the van runs and drives and im stoked.
It's had a a map and it's ridiculous amounts of fun. Haven't had it on the dyno yet but expect it to be around 330bhp. Few tweaks that need to be done with the map as I'm getting a but of rev hang atm.
I've also fitted the R36 seats and a Golf R steering wheel.
My wheels are in primer and are off to be painted this week and my box with hybrid bumper has landed in the country and awaiting customs clearance Image

Exciting times but with all this stuff now happening I can finnialky start to plan the vans respray ImageImageImageImage ImageImageImage

Also forgot to mention I'm running a full 2.5" exhuast system with a varex sound adjustable back box which has been a God send , it's sooooo loud.
Also I'm rocking the sleeper look atm...should see the look on peoples faces ImageImageImageImage

Looks great! Can’t wait to see the finished product (if there is such a thing?!) but also loving the sleeper look 👀

Heeey Rich! Fab to see how this has come along and in super quick time too fair play!! Love the wheels and sears look epic snd R mfsw like mine to match the theme!

Also agree that the valved exhaust is great fun as seeing the look on peoples faces looking out for a Ferrari when the van is in loud mode is hilarious ... especially when they see its a Caddy ... i’m 56 years old and become 18 again when i get in this! Better than owning a Ferrari, trust me ... and a sh.t load more respect in return! Even when you’re pulling away from some fast cars, most give you a smile and salute ... the best

@hef355
Cheers hef , it's been slow on my eyes Image
But lots of stuff arriving in the next couple weeks so should make some big progress Image

I tried installing some mk6 golf r clocks I'd been given yesterday and they worked fine but unfortunately my van decided to forget the longcoding for the abs unit and now my dash looks like a Christmas tree Image

Only a couple things to sort , new clocks say "key not found" which I'm unsure how to go about fixing ImageImage
Also there's a windscreen washer light on which I'm sure can be coded out Image

Picture of when I polished the clocks when I removed them from the caddy.Image

So new front bumper finally arrived from the uk ,so I gave it a text fit.
Gti Kris helped me out on this one and he's done an awesome job , wouldn't hesitate to reccomend.

Only thing I didn't realise is it didn't come with the front apron and 2 small splitter peices so ill have to get those sorted ImageImageImage

hello mate was thinking of doing the same thing with a valved exhaust. have you modified any other aspects of the exhaust, or just the back box?
