After lurking the forums for a while, a list of parts and tasks was drawn up, and it soon became obvious a few Touran parts would be needed, so step 1 of the build became source the parts needed, and that we did!
For £550, which is far less than the sum of the individual parts we wanted, and with 4 months MOT which will be used before it goes under the knife, it was on offer we could not refuse! Since one member of Rash Developments is learning to drive the few "age related marks" adorning the bodywork will probably be added too, but other than the front bumper and lights and front half of the interior, the rest won't be needed after the MOT expires in April.
The factory 16 inch alloys on the Touran were the first donation to replace the factory steelies, with the major surgery scheduled for April. But there's still plenty to do between now and then!
