Thanks .

It looks a lot better in pictures than when you’re stood next to it .

But it’s a 200k van & looks presentable enough .

That looks perfect. I love steels over alloys.
15s or 16s?

Fitted my bulk head grill covers , as recommended by @CADDY Lux , definitely take some of the ‘boom’ out of the cabin .

Was having trouble starting it once hot , replaced the coolant temp switch & it now seems ok again .

I need to drop the fuel tank at some point as i can only run it down to half way on the gauge before it runs out of fuel . There’s definitely still half a tank of fuel still in there .

Got to use it properly for the first time yesterday .
100 mile round trip to go mountain biking .

It cut out on the way home , loads of Black smoke out the back , cooling fans running on full .
Left if for a couple of minutes & re started fine , so not sure what happened there ??

Cheers .

Managed to sort the ‘running out of fuel at half full’ issue .

Removed the fuel tank* & found someone had fitted the feed & return lines the wrong way round .
So the pump was feeding up the return & the feed was only half in the tank .

Surprisingly starts much better now .

* well got the fuel tank as low as I could , having flipped the axle & doing this on the driveway there’s no way the tank was ever coming fully out .
Managed to spill quite a bit of diesel over myself & the driveway when removing the pump .
😂

Thanks 👍

I originally had a pro sport kit fitted .

Axle fip on original shackles & wound right down with hub mod on the front .

Was never really happy with them , seemed too soft .

Now running MK5 Stance plus ultra’s with the helpers removed on the front . Sits at the same height , but much improved ride .
I really need to hub mod it to get the helper springs back in .

Ordered some Gaz short shocks for the rear 8 weeks ago , but think there still a good few weeks from being delivered .
