Re: Cam96 Caddy Detailing & Valeting Build
Not updated in a while so get ready for the spam on the updates to the van.
Starting off with the side LED indicators.
Next is the Touran Electric Window door modification.
Then onto the seats where I picked up a set of Caddy 2015 seats.
Also an update on the equipment storage.
Then got a rear spoiler and painted matt black along with the VW badge.
Then came across a cheap Touran Front Bumper that is waiting to be painted.

Nice! Which hooks did you use? I’m thinking of getting some for my dog leads to go in my new caddy!

A nice trick with the badge, remove it then using a bit of white vinyl stick it inside the roundel then stick the badge back in..
I did it with my Golf.

They’re just Medium Command Hooks from Tesco, they’ll work perfect for dog leads!Georgiap98x wrote:Nice! Which hooks did you use? I’m thinking of getting some for my dog leads to go in my new caddy!

@Exuptoy
I might have to give that a go so the VW is more visible instead of just a black circle

If you search fleebay you can actually purchase the sections of the shadow area if you don’t wanna remove the badge.
This sort of thing.

That’ll make life so much easier, might see if I can find it in white to match the van, thanks for that, appreciate it!

Re: Cam96 Caddy Detailing & Valeting Build
Another couple of mods done from the last week, it has now been lowered on JOM Lowering Kit as well as having the front bumper and grill DIY Halfords Painted not perfect but a hell of a lot better than it being silver for the time being, next on the list is to sort out the side rub strips as they’re faded as well as either refurb the current wheels or grab a set of 18’s, haven’t quite decided yet

Taking shape - looks good. Is your tank 250l capacity? Also does your pressure washer just work of the gravity fed water supply? (Guessing you lay the pressure washer on the ground whilst using it)

Re: Cam96 Caddy Detailing & Valeting Build
It’s getting there, the Range Rover Build was taking priority and that’s pretty much done bar little bits so the van is now next Yeah 250L, and it’s gravity fed so exactly that!
