Clouds Mk3 Daily
Hi all thought I’d start a thread to post updates and share/gain ideas knowledge along the way.
I’ll be collecting the van like this tomorrow and have plans to upgrade speakers, sound and carpet the rear, create a removable day bed, 12v electrics.
I’d also like to sort a splitter but may need some recommendations, I’d also like to switch the tail lights out for mk4 but need to find further information on re pinning and coding!
Comments and suggestions welcome

Re: Clouds Mk3 Daily
Seats got stripped out yesterday and sound insulation installed in the rear
Awaiting carpet arriving now, mk4 rear lights on route from van style
Forgot to take a finished picture but it currently looks like someone has created a grow room in the back

Got some more done today, one side down one to go!
I’ll carpet the panels at the end, it’s not a perfect job but it’ll do for a first attempt!

Re: Clouds Mk3 Daily
Been abit quiet!
I resigned from my job working in IT for the last 14 years and decided I wanted to re-skill!
I’ve started working for a company converting Japanese imports to campers so haven’t had a lot of time to give mine the attention needed!
Got the carpeting finished (or so I thought) don’t worry I’ve done the cardboard panel covers too
Starting playing around with some ideas for the u shaped storage, seating and bed!
Now onto the fun bit of making it look nice (and hiding all those horrible joins)
Lids and doors need doing but that’s the easy bit I also ran the last two spotlights as I only used 4 up top and mounted them pointing out the back so I’ll have light in the awning!
I forgot to take pictures but leisure battery is also done, light switches, cigarette lighter output for the matters and usb charging!
Had these turn up too which I think bring the rear up to date nicely?!

Nice job, the carpeting of the base unit makes me want to attack mine as that really looks good.

Thanks all I’m really pleased with how it’s coming got some more done this evening!
Storage tops hinged and stays installed! Bed boards made (I used old seat belts from conversions at work)
Need to carpet the storage tops and ceiling and cut a face plate for the side of the storage facing the cab!
