Looking to get rear seats fitted in my Maxi (once I've picked it up). Tempted to just get it booked in at Sirus, but do you think it is easy enough for a local welder to fit the plate in? Also was it easy enough to get hold of the plate from VW and other brackets, seatbelts etc?

thanks!

If you want to do it yourself it’s a lot of work. The build threads on here are the best place to get the part numbers and any help you need.
Some things you will have to get from VW or TPS, other bits you’ll just have to find on eBay/ Facebook etc
If you are near Sirus what they offer is very good value, especially if you don’t have a lot of free time!
They also offer other upgrades like center consoles and carpets.
Although I did the conversion myself, if I lived near to Sirus I would have them do it. I’ve only heard good reviews of them, and I’ve also seen some pretty bad diy seat conversions!
Hope that helps!
