Family van project, white -13 1,6TDi Maxi Life

Post by LonesTar »

Hello all,
I just got this Caddy to the family and its supposed to be in daily family van use to get the kids to football and cycling training etc.
I'm aiming to make some upgrades to this, and I would be more than pleased to hear the do's and dont's for these ones.
  • First, the noise is overwhelming after some french cars and Jaguars I recently had, so the soundproofing will be in the top of the list for me.
  • This is a trendline, so there are no tinted windows. This will be done in this week, tinting all the rear windows
  • Wheels and suspension; It has brand new Michelins, but on 16" steelies, and they look awful. I will look up to some 18" original look rims later. The suspension and ride height is something that I haven't thought yet, so more than happy to hear your thought and experiences about it.

The window tint done, with 15% film. Much better.

Today I got some wheels for this summer.
The wheels are Image alloys, 7x17" et 46 with 205/50 17 tyres.

Quite high ride level, I was hoping that I wouldn't have to focus on that during this summer, but I doubt that can go with this. Will see what happens.
