my first caddy not first build a did a mini first now having a go at a caddy

here is the caddy bit of work already started but will pic as i go on

These wheels just don't do it so some bentleys on order

starting with the old rear section removal

centraling the R32 pipes didnt want it cock eyed lol

fabricating the R32 exhaust to the standard one was not that hard

had to move weld points for mountaining exhaust underneath the caddy

started on some bodywork repairs
both quarters needed repair

first time ive really attempted anything like this had my mate
danny at bridgefoot body repairs warrington cheshire to give a helping hand when i got stuck with anything (which i did a few times i can tell you lol)

had to buy two doors of ebay mine was peppered swapping them over was a bit of a challenge for me being a newbie plus one of them needed a repair

then i started on the grill and rear badge

we used a flip flake in the laquer imported from the states for another job my mate did
so i thought why not try it

then the other bits i have to fit are mk5 golf GTI brakes

just purchased a 150 bhp turbo with manifold which my mate is sending it away to be refurbed and then he will fabricate it to my caddy

i would of made the rear bumper a bit nicer before paint though :)

Its going back into the body shop to have the exhaust surround redone with a lip
looks a bit tatty like that

Got to get some GTI discs and pads and one of the Bentley wheels needs refurbing
Im away for a week then I can fit these parts and back in the body shop for the lip

I've got front lowering springs and longer u clamps to do a axle flip going to put wheels on first though

Then just waiting for the pd150 to come back and then I think a trip to Pendle for a remap and filter
