First to do was build a steel frame for the enclosure
When you are planing a build like this you need to do correct from the start or it will turn out to be a hell later :P

Here we did start with the enclosure etc. This first build was done together with Massive Audio. And later we changed some stuffs and did put DD Audio "Digital Designs" inside instead of the Massive Audio stuffs.

Hope you Enjoy!

After we had been using and driving the car for a while the rear leaf did not manage the weight. So i made new rear leaf with dubble blades and added Firestone airbags that manage 1400kg/each . We also did put a new rear axel to ensure safety

After some issues with the 6th ordered full blowout enclosure ended upp the baffles did crack.. So a new box was in place.

This time we built a 4th oredered clampshell qirh 8pcs Digital Designs DD9515SC

The baffles this time was made of 3x10mm MDF + 2x12mm Kirch Plywood "10mm mdf in middle followed of kirch plywood on both sides and then another mdf on outside as sandwich"

Everyone that has put some subwoofers in their caddys i think by this time know that the roof is a very weak spot on our Caddys.

After many 160db+ rounds my roof cracked really bad and had to be rebuilt completely. The Frame separeted and the cracks was everywhere.

After alot of welding before in the caddy we mentioned that the cracks everytime started from where we had been welding before so this time we took some caddy sheets to a friend that do alot of welding tests so we tested alot of different technique and find out that the outside shell of caddy has a special steel that is thin and very hard wich cause it to crack easy and lose alot of strength.

The best technique that we come up to was Spot welding. So we did spotweld regular steel sheets 3mm thick to the OEM body sheets so to build area so we later could work with MIG/MAG machine.

Said and done. A spot welding machine was baught and the work could start.

But... The parts on the roof was so bad so first we had to find some new roof parts.. So i baught the cheapest caddy that i could find with broken engine and..
