Obsidian build
Hi all, I've had my caddy for about 2 weeks so I think it's about time to start the mods! I'll update this thread as I go.
29K miles on the clock, spent the last 10 years of its life on Aberystwyth's seafront. Drives nice but has paint swirls, ghost writing and a few dents - nothing that can't be fixed. Here's some pics to hopefully be used as 'before' pictures

Re: * Yet to be named * build
I've been stockpiling parts all week waiting for the bank holiday, I may have got a bit carried away with the purchases...
Parts so far:
Touran headlights
Facelift tinted rear lights
Tinted brake light
Caddy life wing mirrors
Vanstyle barn door spoiler
Replacement headlight mounting panels
Audi S3 air vents (plus vent adaptors and ebay's finest red ring covers)
RNS510 style head unit (plus reversing camera, aux socket and usb cable)
Mk6 Golf GT alcantara seats
100 sheets of Dodo Mat DEADN (and some aluminium tape)
Dodo thermo fleece full size and slimline
10 meters of Mega Stretch Lining Carpet in Anthracite
ST-X Coilovers
Also picked up primer and black spray cans, a trim removal kit and samples of 'black' and 'dark grey' suede to see what looks best for dash and pillars.

Welcome to the forum mate. That’s quite a collection of bits you’ve got there. I have a feeling I know what you’re going to be doing this coming weekend.

Cheers both, only had time to remove the rear window blackout tint this evening. Thinking 15% tint would be better?

Re: * Yet to be named * build
Hopefully the build won't disappoint, I know there's some incredible examples out there.
Not too much progress today, facelift tail lights fitted (using Docs great guide: https://www.caddy2k.com/forum/viewtopic ... 22&t=32664), third brake light fitted, reversing camera cables ran from head unit to barn door, hole drilled for camera and primed the barn door trim.
Not sure about the third brake light, maybe it'll look better once the spoiler is on. Looking a bit more modern now

Also managed to get the wrong rear light trims, luckily there's marks where the cut out should have been so a saw and bit of sandpaper solved that issue.

I bet there's loads of tailgate van owners screaming at the sight of that, I've seen plenty with the cutout when they don't need it.

Haha I didn't consider that, guess there's always duct tape

Rusty mounts replaced and fitted Touran headlights, shame the drivers side high beam shoots off at 45 degrees to the right...
