VW Caddy genuine mud flaps

Post by duncaddy »

Hi all , i am looking at buying a viper green 2020 caddy that has genuine VW mud flats fitted , i would appreciate the views of members as to whether or not i will be able to remove these without leaving any paint damage , my intension is to lower and go with 19 inch wheels and feel the mud flaps will spoil the look , the rears look as though they use some sort of c clamp that secures the mudflap to the rear bumper

Hi, I fitted some genuine mudflaps and your correct they are partly held on with a c clamp that holds it to the underseal seal.
The rear ones require a screw to be drilled and fitted through the bottom of the bumber. This will leave a small hole but you would have to be looking directly under the van to see it.
The rest of the mudflap screws to the wheel liner.
Hope this helps.
