Hi A,
firstly, Welcome aboard.
Your caddy sounds the business, as for your search for lowering and ECU tuning, there are several makers that do lowered spring that will fit the caddy and ECU tuning is limitless by the sound of it, depends what you want and how much your willing to spend.
Take the VW racing Caddy for example, 230ps(227bhp) from upgraded air filter, injectors and intercooler and a stage 3 Superchips remap.
One thing I will say is stay well clear of tuning boxes, they really will mess up your engine.

its alright im well aware of 'tuning boxes' going to book in with redline motorsport in basildon. will get the power graphs put online..... also looks like i'll be getting a bmc airfilter at a good price with the re-map.

Hopefully the community will grow!

Cheers
Alex

WOW, lookin good buddy.
Really like the look of the wheels and the chrome/stainless protection strip on the back bumper.
What do you think of the bumper protector, I've been thinking of gettin one.
Is it good quality?
How does it fair up against scratching?

No front/rear photos as yet..... will get too soon.

the strips are hard wearing, and has saved my bumpers many times over, best of all when it does get screwed i can remove and replace for £45.00. Just had a remap and does it fly!!!! (post will be in respective forum...)

it is sweet. best of both worlds, manual for when you want, auto for when you dont no lag gear changes. well worth the extra £1000.00 !! to get the best economy you need to drive in tiptronic around town (its not bad but you probably get an extra 5mpg around town manually..

it looks pretty well loaded up?? have you noticed the MPG suffer alot from lugging all the weight round? i only got 477 to the tank with 80% of my gear loaded in the van :( was hoping for a bit more.

still looks great though

Nath - it helps if you don't drive it like you've just nicked it though!
