decided to smooth it out removing side mouldings rear wiper and badge , then a we mod to cover the side rails , next job touran front bumper .

I like the smoothed rail cover, but what if you ever need to take the door off for any reason. Still a great mod though :)..

its basically aluminium flat bar with inch angle aluminium bonded on the rear then it just slips in between the rail and body with a little windscreen bonder to hold it in ,£10 from BnQ , 8) thanks bud . thanks doc for sorting out the pics . 8)

Not seen one with flatted rub strips, be interested to see result with final paint

Nice looking truck and van mate - i recently went from MK1 to the van! Love the new van, but miss the truck, a lot!
