Very nice indeed..
I think someone else has their eyes on cross arches etc. as long as it is finished off properly around the bumpers, then I think it will look bloody awesome :)..

That's what's holding up the R bumper. I need the arches to work out how to get them to blend as OEM looking as possible.

I'm going to post up all the parts needed for the Cross kit but there are a lot and I'm not 100% sure about the o/s if like me you don't have the sliding door. I've decided to order the sideskirts also, plus having seen someone post up about the ED30 side rub strips, think I might order some of them too!

Today I did a bit more carbon wrapping on the steering column and trim under the cluster, plus the door handles. Hasn't gone perfectly and the steering wheel now rubs against the vinyl when you turn it so it makes a noise! Good to know the clearance is that tight as I have long term plans to do these sorts of parts in real carbon.

I'm giving up with the cross kit as they are now saying they won't send the remaining few parts without a chassis number as VW do not want any replicas out before the van is released in the UK.

Thats interesting. I'll keep you posted as to whether I manage to get the rest of the kit then. Odd that I got some parts then. Wonder if I won't get the rest. When is the Cross being released over here?

I think (can't find my invoice so been looking on etka) these are the brushed aluminium style from the more modern Tourans:

1T2 837 114 D UBN drivers side approx £20-30

1T2 837 113 C UBN passenger side approx £20-30

and these are the chrome versions from the earlier models:

1T2 837 114 C RYP drivers about £20

1T2 837 113 B RYP passenger about £16

I've got all bumper parts and sill trim silver bits and lower door trim but I think alarm bells starting ringing at VW when they realised that my van doesn't have any sliding doors :D
