Re: Horace's Caddy
I have covered the entire rear floor, the wheel arches and the single skin panels on the sliding door and back walls.
So far I have used about x5 609mm x 1219mm sheets if I remember correctly. I still plan on doing the roof and probably all the doors, front foot wells and the storage spaces behind the seats.
Although I have said it doesn't seem to make a significant difference there is defiantly a reduction in noise levels. I personally think covering the single skin panels on the walls and doors has made the most difference.

Yeah I would say the roof will make a big difference once you do that.

Re: Horace's Caddy
Thanks,
Head unit is an Eonon GM5153. Some people love the Eonon stuff, some not so much.
Here is a link to a quick review I did on it on the vwwatercooled.com.au site (I dont think posting this link is against forum rules. Happy to remove if it does.)

Edit: removed unnecessary quote

Re: Horace's Caddy
No wind for kitesurfing today so time to foam, wash, claybar, cut, polish and wax the Caddy.

Re: Horace's Caddy
Hmmmm beady.....
More photos to come once I finish the detail. Only managed to get a couple of panels cut, polished and waxed due to it being too sunny and having no shade to work in.

Re: Horace's Caddy
Finished the Dynomatting on the weekend.
Off to the trimmers tomorrow to get the rear done. Decided to spend my yearly bonus on getting it done professionally as I don't really have the time to do it myself.

Re: Horace's Caddy
Installed the leather MFSW from a Golf R32 today. Just waiting on the replacement control module and airbag wires before I can activate all the buttons.
I realize that they wont all work as I only have a half size multi function display. I can however program all the steering wheel buttons to preform different functions with my aftermarket head unit, via the can bus. I'm hoping once the buttons have been activated with VCDS I will be able to assign them to preform the functions I want them too.

Re: Horace's Caddy
It's a lovely day today here in Melbourne today so I'm going to knock out some more panels on the van with a 3 stage correction.
I'm also going to fit my garage door opener.
