Re: Grey R Line Caddy MK6 S/Wheel Update
Got New Steering Control Module off MK6 MF Wheel fitted to my caddy today to match MK6 R Line Steering Wheel. Now recoded, all buttons except phone buttons work, these should work when have fiscom bluetooth fitted next week, Part. No.s are as follows:-
1KO 953 549 CH Mk6 MF Control Module
Slip Ring Must Be Version C or Higher
Code No. is 0000734
I had problems with the Yellow Steering Wheel light staying on but it was a matter of running through the basic settings again on VCDS and everything ok. My version was VCDS 912, I think you need at least this to code Mk6 Modules. Hope this information is of some use as their is a lot of doubt as to whether this can be done.

Re: Grey R Line Caddy S/Wheel Update
Have you been for a drive to reset it? Sometimes a short drive in a straight line sorts it out, other than that I've no idea.

Re: Grey R Line Caddy Nearly There!
Few more changes made and hopefully on the home straight. (Pictures to follow!), K&N filter, decat & stainless steel back box. Painted engine cover & under bonnet soundproofing. Touran doorcards & centre console fitted & trimmed to match seats. (Thanks to brycieboy). Rear soundproofed, floor removed for rear footwells, rear seat belts in, roof liner on, and lots of carpeting. Just awaiting brackets for mounting rear seats, then carpet floor, a few power points installed (Thanks to daddy), then were done. (For Now) These are a moneypit & highly addictive!

Re: Grey R Line Caddy Nearly There!
Yeah, will do, the front is almost finished apart from bluetooth, in the rear everythings near done but not really bolted together for the last time yet so will need cables etc in. At the last minute I also decided to put rear speakers in so waiting for them to come, gonna need to run speaker wire up as well and a couple of bits of the lighter plastic still to be painted dark grey for the rear interior. I'll give you a ring during the week to see how your fixed for the following week.DADDY wrote:Look foward to seeing the van Tim I will give you a shout during the week , do you need an auxiliary fuse box and power cables run inBy the sounds of things your finished in the back already dude

Re: Grey R Line Caddy Nearly There!
Yes side rail covers painted, my rear spoiler cracked and someone scuffed a mirror cover so some bits will be getting painted again in a couple of weeks. My paint man has plenty of this colour left, (after all the s**t i've got done) so drop them bits of your's down and I'll get them painted at the same time. (No Charge), I give him a lot of work and he does my van very reasonable! Very unhappy when i put the touran door cards on that the door panel lights didn't work, but was on vag com today and reprogrammed module. Sorted

Re: Grey R Line Caddy Nearly There!
Nice one Tim, Tim did you read the post done by Matt @reflex, its about jointing the roof spoilers with metal pins to prevent cracking on single door installs, hope this helps.tcc wrote:Yes side rail covers painted, my rear spoiler cracked and someone scuffed a mirror cover so some bits will be getting painted again in a couple of weeks. Re: Grey R Line Caddy Nearly There!
No, there were no problems after the decat. I done the decat, filter, and exhaust at the same time, there was a difference, a bit sharper, revving cleaner, turbo whistling so working better but I did these mods on my connect and noticed a big difference. Maybe I should have done it before I got it remapped. But all in all, yes it was a noticeable difference & worth doing Liam.

Re: Grey R Line Caddy Nearly There!
No, didn't bring on any lights, don't think it was a big job, local Powerflow dealer had decat & back box done in a couple of hours. Only done the back box as its the size of your average dustbin and didn't think there was any need for it! Getting gases out quicker can only be a good thing
