That engine looks stunning. Almost a shame putting it back in as you won't see most of it!

I think the insides look as good as the outside. It has given me the enthusiasm to get the rest of the van done now, I am completly hooked.

Re: 20v turbo engine conversion
It lives Have now done a very slow 100miles running in miles with 200 ish to go before its back in the garage for its new oil and some minor coding issues to be sorted (I hope!), before it gets a full throttle run and then booking for a remap. Just need to sort out the rest of the van now!

Re: 20v turbo engine conversion
That's some tidy looking engine work mate. Inspirational stuff.
I'm sure it will all feel very worthwhile once you get it mapped and are able to take it out with a heavier foot. Will probably surprise quite a few cars having a caddy with that sort of power too....haha

Re: 20v turbo engine conversion
I'll nominate myself to run in the remap.
What sort of figures can you expect from that engine?

Re: 20v turbo engine conversion
up early so I can drive the long way into work!! The wiring does make it a difficult conversion that was way out of my capability with many hours of work, but thats all done and forgotten about now. I am running a standard re conditioned turbo and manifold at the moment which I am hoping will return 280-300 bhp with buckets of torque, but have built the engine with thoughts of bigger things in the future.

Re: 20v turbo engine conversion
Thank you for your kind offer Doc, will need to speak with you soon as I will need some new petrol clocks. I understand golf mk5 will work but need to be fitted into the Caddy housing. The van is 2005, is it possible to fit the latest clocks with the white info panel into this model?
