Had this light for months and finally got it fitted.

Had my remap done by DNA Tuning today.

Have only been out for a quick 30 minute blast along the freeway and back the long way through some nice windy roads I like to take the motorbike on.

So far I'm pretty impressed. Throttle seems more responsive and the acceleration and pull is greatly improved.

$630.00 Yes I have the 1.9 TDI.

I didn't want the expense of a rolling road remap and from the information I had researched many of the remaps from various companies give very similar results.

I wanted something with a little more punch than the Bluefin remap and wanted to keep the cost below $1000.

DNA Tuning gets pretty good reviews in the UK. They are a UK company. Their rep here in Melbourne has good reviews too.

Another day another couple of pictures. Fitted some more LEDs in the interior and as number plate bulbs too.

New pedal covers today. Cover for the footrest is currently making its way from the UK.

I also installed an auto headlight switch and sensor.

Received my front splitter and rear spoiler today. Now waiting on a couple of quotes to get them painted and fitted.

Can't wait to get them sorted.

How much were the top row (A3?) one's?

I'm keen for an update on your splitter etc

They are actually A1 vents. I paid all of about $AUD19.41 (£9.50) + shipping for them. Crazy cheap price.

They were advertised as being brand new. There is certainly no dust on them and they look unused.

One has a chip out of it and a small crack. I'm hoping I can sort that if I go with this option. Currently I'm leaning toward the TT option though.

As for the splitter and other paintwork I'm going to have done, I'm currently waiting on my painter getting back to me with quotes.

So after spending around 5 hours trying to fit the Audi A1 air vents I realize that to do so is going to be a major undertaking. As they are not symmetrical they will have to be sanded and reshaped individually.

I went to work on one with the dremel to get the basic shape. I now need to sand it down by hand using fine sandpaper to get a nice smooth, flat edge. Once thats done they should hopefully fit flush, with no gaps.

Im pretty concerned I wont be able to get all 4 vents even. But I will give it a go. Probably leave it now to do as a winter project.

In the mean time I got to work today on the TT vents. They are all fitted but there are a couple of gaps that I need to deal with. May have a look at adding some of those Ebay metal rings or maybe some plastic ones.



I also added a footrest cover today.
